Surprises are great, especially when it’s a gift you really want! If you know someone who is a self improvement junkie, then I am sure you will find the perfect gift idea for them in this list!
These ideas may not look very exciting and could actually look like work to those who are not interested in personal-development but as a self-improvement junkie myself you can rest assured knowing that I have already passed this list on to my husband…
You know your self-improvement junkie the best so think about what their hobbies and interests are and adapt these gift ideas to suit their interests and your budget. The special thing about self-improvement gifts is that it’s the gift that keeps on giving. It is another opportunity for the person to invest in themself, which is the greatest investment after all.
Let’s get started!
13 Gift Ideas for Self Improvement Junkies
Workshops & Seminars
1. Cooking; baking; carpentry; surfboard shaping; coffee tasting workshops… The list goes on!
2. Tickets to a personal growth/leadership seminar. Joe Dispenza and Tony Robbins are on my list!
Extra Time
3. Arrange childcare for the day, so they can choose how to spend their free hours.
4. Organize a solo night away for them in a hotel. I was gifted 2 nights away in a 5* Star Hotel for my 30th Birthday and it is my the best birthday gift I have ever received! I took the time to review my goals, journaled, meditated and visualized. This time alone was treasured and I returned home feeling recharged and ready to thrive in my 30’s.
Physical Products
5. Books or bookstore vouchers
6. Journal, pens, sticky notes
Subscriptions
7. Personal development magazines, online book clubs or app subscriptions. Personally, I love doing my Neurogym Innercises every day which is a program that uses hypnosis, subliminal messaging, affirmations, sound frequency, and more to tap into your subconscious to create new neural pathways.
Educational
8. Online courses. There is literally a course about anything and everything and most of them are super affordable. I like to use Udemy but you can also use Coursera and Alison.
Inner-work
9. Sessions with a life coach or spiritual coach
10. The spiritually inclined will also be interested in receiving a birth chart, tarot card reading or a meeting with a psychic
Sensory Activities
11. Art/Yoga/Tai Chi class or membership
12. Sensory deprivation tank
13. Sound Healing or Yoga Nidra session
